Studio Ismo ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile game Double Struggle (the "Game"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Game.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Player Name (Alias): When you submit your score to the global leaderboard, you choose a display name. This name is publicly visible on the leaderboard. We do not require your real name, email address, or any other personal contact information.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Game Scores: Your scores are submitted to our daily global leaderboard powered by Google Firebase Firestore.
• Approximate Country: When you submit a score, we detect your approximate country using your device's IP address (via third-party geo-IP services such as ipwho.is or api.country.is). This is used solely to display a country flag next to your leaderboard entry. We do not store your IP address.
• Analytics Data: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., session duration, game mode usage, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
• Advertising Data: Our Game displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and interaction data to serve relevant ads. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
• Device Storage (Local): We store your game progress, high scores, coin balance, purchased skins, mission progress, and settings locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you submit a score to the leaderboard.

2. In-App Purchases

Double Struggle offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs, ad removal, level unlocks) processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies:

3. Third-Party Services

The Game integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics: Firebase Privacy
• RevenueCat / Capgo Native Purchases — In-App Purchase management: purchases are validated through Apple/Google servers.

4. Advertising & Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, Double Struggle respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Before any tracking occurs for personalized advertising purposes, we will request your explicit permission via the standard iOS system prompt. You can change this permission at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

If you decline tracking, you will still see advertisements, but they will be non-personalized (contextual ads).

5. Children's Privacy

Double Struggle is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take steps to delete such information.

6. Data Retention

• Leaderboard data is organized by daily collections and is retained for a reasonable period to maintain historical leaderboards.
• Local game data (progress, coins, skins) is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear app data.
• Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized by Google Firebase according to their retention policies.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Leaderboard data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption to Google Firebase servers. Local game data is stored within the app's sandboxed storage on your device. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU residents and CCPA for California residents), you may have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of personalized advertising (via your device's ad settings or the iOS ATT prompt).
• Withdraw consent at any time.
